My Short Answers

Q) How has your thoughts on blogging changed over the past few weeks as we have explored different aspects of blogging (thoughts, pictures, ideas, etc.). What are the benefits of blogging? What are the disadvantages of blogging?

A)  Well, I've never really THOUGHT about blogging before...I've just automatically did it without thinking. But after learning about it in ModernMedia....it's kind of interesting how it's evolved over time...and to what it is now. How it's gotten this far. I think it's kind of sad in a way, yet great on the other hand. For starters, I think it's amazing, because it links the whole world in one giant group with communications and learning things, (technology, ect..) I think it does a awesome job doing that part...but that's also part of it's downfall. In a way it's destroying social ablilities among people, and also face to face conversations. It's all in computers, phones ect... It's pulling relationships apart, and becoming a dependency for some people who suffer from social fear. I think blogging has gone too far with it in that aspect. I mean, who doesn't like to recieve a letter? (not e-mail by the way) Who doesn't like to see the person's face of which they're talking to? (and no, not through a camera on your screen)

Q) What is the importance of social networking for individuals? What is the importance for schools, non-profit organizations? How has social networking effected how people plan and organize things? Do you agree/disagree with this trend? Why?

A) Wow, well...yes. I have to agree with schools, teams, organizations having a social network. In this way, they can (as you said) organize their programs and presentations in one simple network. It helps communications between students, teachers, ect... the importance level is a little high. Maybe too high. It can be important with meetings and such it can help keep chaos down to a minimum...   I think networks are good mainly for work related projects. it seems to have gotten out of hand outside of that. Social network is safe in only organizational industries...in my opinion.....as I say this on a blog.
